Role for Senior Leaders

  • Develop a strategy for senior leaders to communicate their commitment to the mental health action plan.
  • Develop a high level communication plan for senior leaders that has specific deliverables and timelines to execute the mental health action plan.
  • Ensure that managers are prepared to execute the mental health plan. [Link to slide Educate Managers]
  • Support, recognize and reward managers as they participate in developing return to work/stay at work plans for their employees with mental illness.
  • Communicate this plan to all stakeholders with regular updates on progress.
